When you are searching for a young sport horse prospect what you want to
look for is a horse with good inspection scores, great movement and
superior bloodlines. This youngster has it all. He was Regional Champion
as a foal and participated in the Foal of the Year Championship with the
excellent score of 49. He is professionally started under saddle
and free-jumped and will be shown at the Three-Year-Testing this spring.
Just like his playmate Kaistic, Celtic comes
from one of the strongest performance sire lines ever in SWB breeding,
he is the fifth generation of successful GP show horses. His sire
Maistic was one of
Sweden's most promising young stallions with very good scores for
rideability, temperament and conformation. He then competed very
successfully in the Breeders Trophy young horse championships and won
the Bronze at the World Breeding Championship, and was winning at PSG at
the age of 7! This talent did not go unnoticed and to the loss of
Swedish breeders everywhere he was sold to Switzerland after only a few
years in breeding. His great grand sire Magini was a successful GP
jumper and his grand-sire Magritte actually was the best jumping
stallion at his testing but he also was the best dressage stallion
and went on to compete GP dressage internationally. Napoleon is
probably the greatest dressage sire ever in SWB breeding, he has
numerous approved stallions and several of his offspring has competed
successfully in the Olympics and World Championships, his best known
offspring probably being Amiral. When it comes to producing good gaits
he rivals the likes of Donnerhall and Weltmeyer and this grandson of his
is no exception.
